Willapa
BORN IN THE WILLAPA HILLS. BUILT FOR THE HUNT.
Inspired by the rugged terrain of Washington’s Willapa Hills, the handcrafted Willapa reflects the country that shaped its design: demanding, unforgiving, and uncompromising.
Developed through years of hunting experience, the Willapa follows a straightforward philosophy: build only what belongs and make every component count.
This compact, hard-use fixed-blade knife features a purposeful profile designed to deliver strength without unnecessary bulk. Its reinforced tip transitions into a precision hollow-ground cutting edge, providing the durability needed for demanding fieldwork while maintaining the control required for detailed hunting tasks.
Along the spine, carefully shaped thumb jimping provides a secure grip for controlled cutting. A crisp 90-degree spine adds versatility for scraping bark, producing fine wood shavings, and handling other practical outdoor tasks.
The handle features Ultrex Black Micarta scales, complemented by four copper and brass mosaic pins. A concealed lanyard hole with woodland camouflage paracord preserves the handle’s clean profile while maximizing available grip space.
A custom Kydex sheath featuring black carbon fiber texture and Dark Rare Earth camouflage provides versatile carry configurations, including right- or left-handed positioning with vertical or angled mounting options.
Handcrafted by Don Christensen, the Willapa is a dependable working knife designed for hunters and outdoorsmen who value performance, durability, and purposeful craftsmanship.
The Willapa isn’t built to sit in a display case. It’s built to earn its place in a sheath.
