A close relative of the Big Cam, the handcrafted Gatherer Moonbase shares its heritage while establishing a distinctive character of its own. Combining refined blade geometry, anodized titanium construction, and precision-engineered components, this custom folding knife delivers both visual appeal and dependable everyday performance.
The Gatherer features a distinctive clip-point blade crafted from AEB-L stainless steel. Its carefully shaped profile and precision-ground facets create an eye-catching combination of form and function. Designed for controlled cutting and everyday utility, the blade balances practical performance with the refined details expected from a handcrafted custom knife.
The handle features purple anodized 6-4 titanium scales with a blasted and tumbled finish. Rounded contours provide a comfortable, natural grip, while subtle thumb traction enhances control during handling. A custom bent titanium pocket clip secures the knife while providing additional finger purchase during deployment.
A silver anodized titanium backspacer incorporates detailed jimping, adding texture and a distinctive finishing touch to the overall construction.
Beneath its refined exterior, the Gatherer Moonbase features precision-machined stainless steel hardware, polished pivot components, and a carefully engineered locking mechanism. Hidden stainless steel stop pins preserve the knife’s clean appearance while contributing to its solid construction.
