The handcrafted Big Cam Encoder combines distinctive blade geometry, precision engineering, and rugged functionality in a compact, custom-built folding knife designed for everyday carry and demanding fieldwork.
Crafted from AEB-L stainless steel, the blade features a distinctive belly and precision hollow grind, creating an effective cutting profile for everyday tasks and light skinning in the field. Its polished finish highlights carefully executed facets and angles, showcasing the craftsmanship behind its construction.
Along the spine, detailed thumb jimping provides additional traction and control during precision cutting, while the blade’s purposeful geometry delivers dependable performance without unnecessary bulk.
The handle features gray anodized 6-4 titanium scales with a blasted and tumbled finish. Strategically positioned dimples provide additional finger purchase, while a custom bent titanium pocket clip offers secure carry and a natural gripping point during blade deployment.
A matching gray anodized titanium backspacer complements the handle’s refined construction.
Beneath its distinctive exterior, the Big Cam Encoder incorporates stainless steel hardware, polished pivot components, and a hardened lock-bar insert designed for reliable operation. Hidden stainless steel stop pins maintain the knife’s clean, uncluttered appearance while supporting its precision-engineered construction.
The blade rides on brass-caged ceramic bearings, providing exceptionally smooth movement. Its light-switch-style flipper action delivers crisp, responsive blade deployment with a satisfying, controlled feel.
